Michael Corey, Vice President Logistics & Operations

Mike is a passionate retail, operations and supply chain professional with a strong slant towards managing for exceptional customer service. His experience includes on hand store operations management, district management, as well as marketing and data services at the executive level. Michael worked with the Shoppers Drug Mart team as well as outside resources to help the company move from a DSD environment to one that had three DC's with over 1,000,000 sq.ft. servicing 850 stores with daily deliveries. He then went on to lead the team as VP Logistics. Setting up one of the most low cost and efficient retail distribution operations at the time. He also rolled out one of Canada's best inbound freight programs resulting in a 17% improvement in DC receiving and put a way.
Mike has also worked alongside the Loblaw's and Home Depot teams to implement not only inbound freight programs but also Vendor Score carding, Improving On Time Fill Rates and many different EDI implementations. Mike was long associated with the CSCMP and actively participated on the Toronto Roundtable. Past Co-Chair of the CACDS committee on efficient customer response in the pharmaceutical industry Mike has had much success bringing vendors and their customers closer together and helping to build strong relationships with well applied accountabilities. Lori Magder is a freight pricing professional with over 35 years experience in the transportation industry.
